TGIF! Did this week feel simultaneously long and short to anyone else? Work has been fairly slow recently; I spent a lot of time this week trying to get things working on my new work computer (and succeeded... eventually, haha) so I'm ready to go when we get busy again. On the flip side, I've been crazy busy at home since Korri is still on crutches. He finally went back to work for a couple of days after being off for almost a month. I'm not even sure he remembers what it's like to work...! ;)

Today's post is all about my new sweater blazer by J.Crew. Guys, the addiction is real! I want to wear this one every day. I have another color sitting in my cart but am waiting for another 40% off sale (not sure when that will happen again, though). I sized down to XXS per reviews, and it fits perfect, even on my broad shoulders. The arms are short and hit me at an awkward length, so I just cuffed them once to make them more 3/4-length. The body length is perfect, and I absolutely love the fabric. It's soft and cozy but not too warm. It also travels extremely well; I had it rolled up in my bag for my recent work trip and it didn't have any wrinkles in it when I pulled it out! The. Best. I'll probably end up getting the winter version, too, as long as they rerelease it.

This outfit is like weekend-meets-workday, which is basically what a Friday is, right? I'm wearing a cropped tee with frayed denim, which is definitely more of a weekend look, but I threw on my sweater blazer and added ballet flats to make me look put together for work. The necklace adds some contrast between the tonal grey. Since my office dress code is on the casual side of business casual, I will wear anything in my closet on any day of the week, but I have the idea of "Casual Friday" ingrained in me, so I tend to save my frayed and distressed denim for Fridays because of that!
