A sweater to match the weather
Whew, gotta love the end of winter—one day it's snowing, and the next, it's raining! Mother Nature hasn't given us much of a break from the wet weather the past couple of weeks. Even though I wish it was sunny and warm (hello, March!), the rain is a perfect excuse to pull out my Bean boots a few more times before I stash them in the closet for summer. I'm also seriously considering ordering a second pair of Hunter boots just because I know I'd likely put a lot of mileage on them this spring.
I also finally got to shoot outfit photos with my clear umbrella! I bought it over a year ago and have had outfits planned with it since then, but a combination of work schedules and non-compliant weather made it so none of them could be photographed to share here...until now! As much as I love my yellow umbrella, it doesn't feel right to use that umbrella with any boots other than my yellow Hunters, haha. This clear umbrella, on the other hand, can be worn with everything! I think they look especially stunning in wedding photography.
A cool, grey, and rainy day called for my equally-as-grey cashmere sweater. I didn't realize I matched the rain clouds until going through these photos! My nerdy weather heart is happy. :) This sweater has been a workhorse all winter long, and I have to admit that I will probably be a little bummed to put it away come late spring!
