Navy cropped sweater layered over chambray dress + navy Salt Water sandals — Cotton Cashmere Cat Hair

This is my last outfit from my trip back to my hometown. Around the 4th, some nice little cold fronts came through that dropped the high temperature to a more bearable mid-80s. It was still a tad warm for a sweater during the day, but there was a bit of a chill in the evening. I knew I wanted to pair this sweater with this dress; don't they go perfectly together? I went monochrome with my navy sandals and added my monogram necklace to up the preppy factor another notch. This combination could easily be worn in the fall, too, with a pair of tall boots instead of sandals!

Contrary to how it appears, I did actually spend time ironing this dress. I just took outfit photos after, ya know, living in it for a while. ;) Wrinkles are basically unavoidable on this dress, ha.
