Two bloggers, one garment: Leather jacket
My "Two bloggers, one garment" mini series is back for the spring! Like the first round, I've teamed up with three blogger babes to style the same (or similar) items in our own ways. I'm super excited to share these looks! :)
I first teamed up with Anne of In Residence to style our leather jackets. Anne recently relocated to Michigan with her adorable toddler and husband. I absolutely adore her simple, laid-back yet put-together mom style. She is proof that when you become a mom, your style doesn't have to be pushed to the back burner. Anne is definitely a cool mom, not a regular mom. ;)
For my look, I decided to try a look I've been curious about for a while: layering a dress over pants. I have to admit, I like the look more than I thought I would! I think this dress works perfectly for it, too, because it's quite short and it's not structured. I originally did not plan on wearing a cardigan over the dress, but the weather was too chilly to go without another layer. I topped it all off with my leather jacket to add a bit of edge. Anne's look is perfect for a night out on the town, with or without the babe in tow. Check out her post for more photos and outfit details!
