Donut Worry, Be Happy

This past weekend, I really wanted to get donuts to celebrate Valentine's Day (though, let's be honest, you really don't need a holiday as an excuse to buy donuts...right? ;)). We opted to pick up a half dozen—three for me, three for Chris! Can you guess who picked which donut? (Hint: I don't like chocolate donuts or frosting!) The pink frosting was strawberry flavored and SO DELICIOUS! I also picked a sprinkles donut even though I'm not a huge fan of them because they are so cute and festive (and, you know, for #blogging purposes, ha!). Of course, I had to include them in my outfit photo shoot! Did you guys do anything fun this past weekend? I was so happy that we got yesterday off. It was so nice to relax an extra day, especially because being in the nasty air for a week made me feel a bit ill.

I was really excited that it was warm enough to finally pull out my silk top from Everlane and wear a lighter coat. I felt really put-together in this outfit; the base of my outfit was all black, which already makes me feel chic, but my boots definitely helped to "fancy" up this outfit a little bit. And, of course, there's the coat! I love having such a statement-maker in my closet for the cooler days. :)
