Last month, I mentioned that I was deciding between some pairs of jeans that I ordered from LOFT. I ended up picking the drop-hem jeans (size 25 petite) and the petite flare crop jeans (size 24). The drop-hem jeans fit pretty tight in the 25 petite at first, but they stretched out a lot more than I expected so I wonder if the 24 petite would have worked better. They can only be worn a couple of times before they need to be washed to "shrink" back up. I haven't had a chance to wear the flare crop jeans, but they fit comfortably snug in a petite size 24 and I expect those to stretch out a little bit, too. I liked the smaller flare on the petite flare crops compared to the regular flare crops.

I also ordered the scotch plaid shirt from L.L.Bean last month, but it was backordered so I just received it a couple of weeks ago. I'm in love with the Christmassy plaid! Like the green plaid I ordered last year, I got it in a misses XS and it fits well. I love the slightly fitted shape, too. I picked up the Madewell clutch for a wedding I attended this month. I would have liked to get it for less, but I kind of forgot about the fact that I needed a bag so I got this the day before I left for the wedding. I adore this bag so much and know I'll be using it a lot, so I'm not too bummed about spending more than I would have liked.

As far as Black Friday/Cyber Monday goes, I exercised some self control and only placed an order at Uniqlo. I ended up purchasing the ultra light down vest in navy and the warm tech down military coat in black. Unfortunately, I paid more than I needed to; a couple of days after I placed my order, they offered free shipping and dropped the price on the vest. Of course! Oh well. I'm looking forward to the items so much, though. I've been wanting a black parka-like coat for a while.

I'm going to try and not buy any more clothes next month. Not only did the Uniqlo order take a sizable chunk of my budget, but I still need to buy Christmas gifts for others. I can't believe Christmas is only a few short weeks away. I'm excited but not ready at the same time. ;)
