Singing the blues (and beige)

Also known as: The worst my hair has ever looked in outfit photos. Yikes! Haha. I'm not sure what happened this day. It was probably a combination of failure to look in the mirror before I left for school, static, and the brisk wind. Regardless, I love this outfit! I actually kind of mindlessly put it together a few weeks ago and thought it was worth repeating even though it is pretty simple. I'm not one to shy away from a good denim-on-denim combination, which was made even better by adding a knit cardigan, my Bean boots, and a pair of socks that matched the cardigan (but of course).

I'm back in my hometown visiting my family and boyfriend for Thanksgiving, and I couldn't be happier! I'm slightly nervous about the drive back since the weather looks pretty dicey this weekend/next week, but I'm so ready to spend a few days hanging out with some of my favorite people and eating mountains of delicious food! I hope all of you fellow Americans have a lovely holiday, too. :)
