Everlane cashmere sweater with black mini skirt, ballet flats, gold choker — Cotton Cashmere Cat Hair

Here's another iteration of my favorite long-sleeved-tops-with-bare-legs combination. This time, I paired one of my Everlane cashmere sweaters with this fitted black mini skirt from Old Navy. (Side note: Did you see that Everlane's cashmere crew sweaters are only $100 this year?! So tempting!) I wish I could say I wore this to brunch or to shop 'til I drop or something else fun, but I actually just wore it around the house. I had big plans to run errands, but I didn't feel like going anywhere. Turns out this outfit was comfortable enough to wear while watching Netflix and working on blog things. :)

I bought this skirt last year at around this time, and this is the first time I wore it. (The tag was still on it!) I had high hopes for it when I bought it (and it was only $7), but I think I was nervous about wearing a short, fitted skirt out and about. It wasn't really my typical style even though I had a few outfit ideas in mind that never came to fruition. I must be feeling more comfortable in my skin because I had an urge to pull it out a couple of weeks ago and realized I loved how it looked with a sweater partially tucked in. I hope this isn't the last time I wear it in an outfit worth blogging!
