Lighten up
Summer to me is carefree and wearing lots of light hues (even though, admittedly, I don't wear light hues any more than other colors). This skirt was begging to be worn with a collared button-up shirt tied at the waist, and I knew this light blue linen shirt I picked up from Uniqlo last month would go with it perfectly. Side note: I've been wearing a whole lot of collars lately (case in point: one and two and many other outfits that weren't documented). They really aren't so bad to wear in the summer heat. :)
