Quick trip
I ended up taking a quick trip home this weekend. The trip was interesting, to say the least. Rosie pooped halfway through the drive there. I had just barely pulled off to make a stop at the rest area myself when I smelled it, so that was incredibly lucky. I drove through a downpour for miles on the way there, and on the way back, I drove through a huge snowstorm. There's never a dull moment in the transitional seasons!
This weekend, I was all about simple comfort. I packed really basic pieces and didn't jazz them up at all.

I love me some cardigans with awesome drape, like this one! Of course, stripes were necessary, too. The cool weather brought out some of my fall favorites (though to be honest, I'm still loving fall colors right now).

I'm going to be honest again and say that I wore these pants for maybe 10 minutes before changing into sweats for the drive back. I love them, but I dislike sitting in them for extended periods of time. Also, I realized I really like blue with these pants. (And grey. Always grey.)
