Outfit Re-creation: Selective Potential

My favorite fashion blogger, Tieka, the brain behind Selective Potential, has some seriously adorable style. I love the way she balances loose tops and tight bottoms, not to mention her dress and tight combinations. Her fits with skirts that sit at her natural waist are some of my favorites. She always looks so put together, even on her lazy days. I find myself lusting over her clothes! She is also a twenty-something and has been blogging for just over four years! One of my favorite looks of hers thus far is seen in this post from the end of October.

Holy adorable simplicity. Love.

I decided to make a series based off of outfits I love that I want to recreate with my own clothes. I didn't really plan on this series, but somehow I ended up with all the pieces that make up this outfit. Heehee.

The rain deterred any outdoor photos, so these less-than-ideal indoor ones will have to do. Also, I'm not sure how I feel about the serious-model-face-thing I have going on.

Gotta love the cats' water fountain in the back! If only I had a super cute corner set up with perfect lighting for all of my indoor photo needs...

So besides the fact that my cardigan is a little more giant than Tieka's and the fact that I don't wear headbands, my outfit is pretty similar. I hope you check out her blog; you might find yourself just as inspired as I am!
