5 years of blogging (+ a special surprise for YOU!)
It’s hard for me to believe, but I’ve been doing this blogging thing for FIVE YEARS now. In some ways, it feels like I’ve been doing this forever, and in other ways, it feels like I’m still brand new at it!
My blog has undergone a lot of change over the past few years—of course, it has grown and evolved as my life has evolved. My blog started as Twenty-Something Simple on a free Wordpress blog in late September 2013. Then, in 2015, I attended a blogging conference and was inspired to rebrand and switch to Squarespace. That’s when Cotton Cashmere Cat Hair was born!
I’ve always written about my personal style. I first fell in love with style blogs, so that’s always what my main focus has been, and it’s interesting to look back at those first outfits and see how much my style has changed over the past few years. I truly think I would not put that much effort into what I wear each day if I didn’t have this blog!
I have also enjoyed keeping track of my clothing budget and sharing my travels and other bits of my life. As much as I want to share more of my life than I currently do, my life is just…not that interesting, lol. When anything remotely interesting happens, you’re the first to hear about it. ;) Regardless, I hope you are still able to get a feel for how I am in real life and what my story is.
I appreciate you so much for reading, for commenting, for pinning, for sharing my posts/blog, for following along on social media all these years. I would not have had some of the opportunities I’ve had if it weren’t for you, so thank you! (I also appreciate it because it doesn’t feel like I’m shouting into a void every time I post something new.)
