While I was back in Idaho for my brother's graduation (and some extra rest and relaxation after defending my dissertation), my boyfriend and I spent an afternoon wine tasting with his parents along the Sunnyslope Wine Trail in the Snake River Valley. We stopped first at Indian Creek Winery, where we tried an amazing sweet riesling (I love sweet wines!) among others. After grabbing a late lunch at The Orchard House, we continued on to Koenig Distillery & Winery (my boyfriend's and his parents' favorite). I'm obsessed with Koenig's ice wines and their late harvest riesling! I didn't even think to take photos at each place other than a few snaps for Insta stories, so I apologize for the lack of photos of the surroundings. Guess you'll have to make a trip yourself! ;)
It was a warm and windy afternoon, so I paired a couple of silk pieces: my tropical-print shirt and shorts instead of a skirt. I added a hat to keep the sun out of my eyes, but we ended up wine tasting indoors (and I didn't wear it during lunch, which we ate outdoors, of course). The wedges made the outfit feel a little more fancy than usual. I ended up wearing my black Natori 'Feathers' bra under the shirt, thinking that you'd be able to see it like in this outfit, but I guess the shirt is more opaque than I thought!
