Happy November! How was your Halloween? I bought candy for the kids that came through my office, but I bought too much... I got an extra bag in case we had kids come by the house, but no one stopped by. There aren't very many kids that live around us and I assume they go to other neighborhoods to trick-or-treat. Ah well. I dressed up as a cat lady again (I blogged my first cat lady "costume" three years ago), but one year I'd love to wear a costume that isn't thrown together at the last minute, haha. Kimmy Schmidt would've been fun but none of the kids at work would have known who I was!
In outfit-related news, I've been having such a hard time coming up with cute outfits lately. I don't know why because normally I have too many outfits on my list in the fall, but I don't this year! I currently have only three outfits in mind that I want to blog (plus one that has already been worn and photographed). I'm not sure if it's my job or my clothes (too boring?) or just a lack of creativity (how many times can I wear and blog the same kind of outfit?). I'm trying to keep in mind that this blog acts like a style diary of sorts and the outfits may not always be interesting or groundbreaking. They're real, and that's good enough!
Anyway, the recent gorgeous fall weather allowed me to take my olive green silk bomber jacket out for a spin. It was the perfect finish to a simple jeans-and-tee look. The sneakers and baseball cap gave it a sporty feel that I'm really into. It was the perfect casual look for a mall and Target run (where I bought the aforementioned candy plus a bunch of other things I didn't really need, of course)!
